Rosa María Galindo Suarez is currently a Corporate Affairs and Access Director at GSK Mexico
Her last charge during the period 2013-2018 in the government was Deputy General Director of Prioritization at the General Health Council, within their responsibilities are the Technical Secretariats of the following Commissions: Commission of the National Formulary; Commission of Catastrophic Expenses Diseases Definition; Commission of Rare Diseases.
She has vast experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry. From 2006 to 2013 she was Outcomes Research Manager in Ely Lilly and Pfizer. Previously she was consultant for projects for the Economic Evaluation and monitoring of progress of health programs, sponsored by the World Bank in Central America.
Her experience in the Public Sector has provided her with a comprehensive perspective. During 2004-2006 she was the Advisor for Federal Commission for the Protection against Sanitary Risks (COFEPRIS) and in the General Health Council regarding Pharmacoeconomic topics. During 1996 to 2000 she worked as an advisor for the Ministry of Health and for the Sanitary Regulation Vice-Minister.
Relating academic activities, she served as a President of the ISPOR Mexican Chapter during 2014-2017
Rosa María holds a B.S. in Economics and obtained her Master degree in Health Economics from University Pompeu Fabra of Barcelona.
