Miriam has over seven years of experience in health economics and real-world evidence, being currently a senior health economics manager at Amgen Spain. She has had the opportunity to spend time at the global headquarters based in Rotkreuz, Switzerland, and develop international skills regarding health evaluation for new drugs approvals. Her main therapeutics areas of work have been, cardio-renal and onco-haematology.
She was for 3 years chairwoman of the Catalan Biotechnology Association and she has been involved since her very early days in the development and career guidance of new young business managers.
Miriam is a biotechnologist by training from the Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona and she has a master program in management of the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry from University Pompeu Fabra and a master’s degree in health economics by the University Pompeu Fabra as well.
